Reflection of Academic Advisor Meeting💕💕

 Hi, everyone. My name is Winnie Chin Hui Yien. 🙋🏻‍🙋🏻‍I am UNIMAS Faculty Economics and Business (FEB) student with programme Accountancy in first year. My academic advisor is Madam Nazaria which is also my EBF1303 Business Communication course lecturer.

          Before I attend the meeting with my academic advisor, Madam Nazaria, I thought the meeting will have a very serious atmosphere and we will talk some serious topic like what need to do and what cannot do just like we are having a meeting with our boss and co-worker. 😨😨

          We had the meeting on 14 November 2020, by 3:00 PM through the Webex Meeting. Actually, the meeting were quite fun and the atmosphere was less tension. 🤩🤩 At first, Madam Nazaria let us introduce ourselves to each other to get known among each other.  All of the advisees were from programme Accountancy but from different years. Madam Nazaria advised us to study hard on the first year in order to achieve Dean's List because the future semesters will be more and more difficult. Our senior also shared some opinion and ways for us who are first year students about how to achieve a good result in future.  Madam Nazaria also told us to enjoy our life while studying and learn about the skills and knowledge that teach in UNIMAS.  🥰🥰I feel very shy and struggle at first, but as long as we continue communicate with each other, I feel more relax and less nervous. Madam also make some jokes and laugh with all of us. 😆😆

            The whole meeting, we are just like a family talk. We talk about our current situation and our senior share about their university life. It’s quite fun while listening. Through this meeting, I feel that I want to work hard in everything without having any regret. I want to study hard in these four years and enjoy the most with the study life.  Even though I cannot meet my course mate face to face due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but I still get know to them by WhatsApp or others platform. I hope that I can meet them as soon as possible and having classes together in future. 👩🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓
